Tiananmen Square Massachusetts

On April 14, 1989 in China, a group of Chinese College Students who had attended school in the United States, held a demonstration in Tienanmen Square. The Communist Officials in China responded to this demonstration by slaughtering the students. People in the United States were appalled and outraged, by this act.

On March 5, 1770 there was a massacre in Boston Massachusetts. The British, who were in control, had convinced the people of Boston to surrendered their firearms in exchange for more fare treatment. The people surrendered their firearms, and the British not only reneged on their agreement, but treated the people more harsh. The people demonstrated, carrying farm tools, going after the British soldiers, who in return opened fire and slaughtered the people Boston.

This is what happens when our weapons are taken from us. Here we are, yet again, with the Government trying to take our weapons away from us, with "gun control" and it started in Boston Massachusetts. When we ignore history, it repeats itself.

When the Government takes away our right to bare arms, we have no recourse when the Government gets "out of hand", we just do as they say. We have two examples here, I am sure there are more, around the world.. but do we need more than two? Do we need to let the Government take our weapons away for a third example? Once our guns are gone, so is out Constitution. Look back through history and look at what happened and the only thing that stopped the slaughtering was there were people who still had guns. The claim that making guns illeagle will take guns out of the hands of criminals, is "Baby Huey" logic (See Harvey Toons DC). An example of this, was from a book written Lee Iacocca about himself. In this book, he states his reason for supporting "gun control". His logic was that because the kids in the Detroit Schools were carrying guns to school making them illegal to own would somehow stop them from taking guns to school. "Duh, that sounds logical." It is illegal already for school age children to buy or own hand guns, so them having them in school, was already illegal. Get the picture?!?

As citizens of the United States, we should be aloud to own any firearm that is manufactured legally. When we faught the Revolutionary War, we had the same weapons the British had. It was this equality of fire power, which helped us win the war. This is why our Government does not want us owning full automatic weapons. Should the need occur (God forbid), for the people to rise up, again without equal fire power, it would be... a slaughter. That is just what the Government wants. It's a deterant to to anybody considering such action. In a sense, they have already disarmed us, and can do whatever they please.

Thank you!
